Carl August Schmitz

Carl August Schmitz (born August 4, 1920 in Cologne , † November 17, 1966 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German ethnologist . He taught in Basel and Frankfurt .

One focus of his research was the cultures of New Guinea .
