Carl Christian Baum
Carl Christian Baum (born August 30, 1840 in Lambsheim in the Palatinate; † February 12, 1907 in Wiesbaden ) was a senior engineer at North German Lloyd .
Baum was the machine designer for the ships Kaiser Wilhelm der Große and Kaiser Wilhelm II . He accompanied both ships on their respective voyages for the Blue Ribbon as chief engineer and was celebrated by the Vulcan shipyard as the real winner.
