Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowships
Since 1993, the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Stiftung has awarded the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowship to one or two outstanding scientists every year . You cannot apply for the fellowship.
With the funds of the fellowship, the recipients should have the opportunity to work on a major scientific (or literary) work undisturbed for one year. For this purpose, they are released from all official duties at the actual place of work; they also have an apartment in Munich.
