Carl Liman
Christian Leopold Carl Liman (also: Karl Liman ; * February 16, 1818 in Berlin ; † November 22, 1891 ibid) was a German forensic doctor .
Liman studied in Bonn, Heidelberg, Halle and Berlin. In 1842 he received his doctorate. He first worked as a doctor from 1846 and was a private lecturer in forensic medicine from 1861. Liman had been professor of forensic medicine and state medicine in Berlin since 1865. He was appointed to the Secret Medical Council.
His uncle was the physician Johann Ludwig Casper (1796–1864).
