The Pirate Bay

Most recently, his support for The Pirate Bay was announced in April 2007 on the Swedish talk show "Bert".

On April 17, 2009, he was sentenced to one year in prison and $ 905,000 in damages for financial and technical support. Together with the other defendants, he appealed the verdict, among other things because of the alleged bias of the responsible judge.

In November 2010, the judgment was upheld by the Svea Hovrätt Higher Regional Court, increasing the compensation payments and reducing the prison sentence to 4 months. On February 1, 2012, the appeal was rejected by the Swedish Supreme Court.
