Carl Peyer

Carl Peyer , actually Karl Peierl (* 1949 in Söchau ), is an Austrian musician of Austropop .

Life

Born in Styria, he started with the band Picadilly Group in 1964 and then sang at Magic 69 with Günter Timischl before starting his solo career. Carl Peyer now lives in Söchau and worked as a school director and teacher in Ilz until August 2013 , now he's retired . The ballad Romeo and Juliet sung by him was written by Thomas Spitzer and Nino Holm and produced by Boris Bukowski .
