Carl Steiner (born February 18, 1892 in Eulau in Bohemia, † January 15, 1968 in Linz ) was an Austrian pianist , composer , university professor and rector of the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz .

Live and act

Carl Steiner was a pianist and from 1943 to 1945 deputy director and from 1945 to 1958 rector of the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and is considered to be the pioneer of today's Bruckner University in Linz.
