Carl Sutter
Carl Sutter (born April 15, 1867 in Schopfheim , † September 14, 1924 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German historian and art historian .
He received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg in 1890 , and in 1893 he completed his habilitation at the University of Freiburg , where he was appointed private lecturer. From 1898 he was an associate professor at the University of Freiburg. Although a professor of medieval history, he mainly held events on art history.
