Carl Wilhelm Niederstein

Carl Wilhelm Niederstein (born January 11, 1864 in Lüdenscheid ; † November 1, 1922 ) was a German judge .

Life

His father was the later superintendent Karl Niederstein (1838–1926) and his mother Emilie geb. Wülfing, daughter of a cloth manufacturer in Hückeswagen (1839–1927). He was the oldest of ten children. In 1886 the Prussian Niederstein was sworn in. In 1897 he became a district judge. In 1906 he was appointed regional judge and chamber judge . In 1912 he came as a laborer to the Imperial Court in the VII Civil Senate . In November 1913 he was transferred to the Second Civil Senate . On New Year's Day 1914 he became a Reich judge and joined the 1st Criminal Senate . He then worked in the 4th Civil Senate and the 5th Criminal Senate . He died in office.

The pastor and superintendent Alfred Niederstein (1866–1963), the pastor Wilhelm Niederstein (1871–1952), and the surgeon and radiologist Friedrich Niederstein (1875–1947) were his brothers.
