Carla Cassola

Carla Cassola (born December 15, 1947 in Messina ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Cassola dedicated her work primarily to the theater. There the spirited and educated actress, who first studied singing, piano and guitar playing, often played under Aldo Pugliese , Giorgio Albertazzi and Roberto Guicciardino . But she also appeared (after an early start in 1967, only beginning twenty years later) in a total of almost fifty film and television productions; best known of them are her roles in horror films by directors such as Lucio Fulci and Michele Soavi . She was also active as a voice actress; In this area of ​​her work she received a Silver Ribbon in 1993 for her performance in the Italian version of Tilda , in which she voiced Tilda Swinton .
