Carla Muresan
Carla Muresan (born 1981 in Timișoara ) is a German camerawoman .
Life
Carla Muresan grew up in Romania and Germany. From 2002 to 2005 she studied fine arts at the Strykehjernet Art School in Oslo and from 2005 to 2009 philosophy and film studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz . She then completed a degree in image design from 2009 to 2017 at the University of Television and Film Munich .
Since then she has worked as a camerawoman for documentary and feature film productions. In 2014 she took over the image design for the documentary Nirgendland , which was awarded the Viktor DOK.deutsch at the International Documentary Film Festival Munich 2014.
She often works for projects that promote the visibility of women-specific issues. She is a member of the association of German picture designers and cinematographers .
Carla Muresan lives in Munich and Berlin.
