Carla Nouwen

Carla Nouwen (born November 29, 1986 in Deurne , North Brabant ) is a Dutch table tennis player . She won four national titles by July 2019 and was twice European champion with the Dutch team.

Career

The left-hander Carla Nouwen was Dutch champion four times from 2003 to 2014 : 2003 with Linda Creemers and 2014 with Nicky Zetsen in doubles and in 2005 and 2012 with Barry Wijers in mixed. She couldn't win a single title.

From 2008 and 2009 she won gold at the European Championships with the Dutch women's team.

Carla Nouwen first played for the Dutch club TTV Koningslust, and later for Westa. From 2006 to 2008 she was active in Spain for the Fotoprix VIC association, with which she was in the final of the ETTU Cup in 2007 . The coach was Peter Engel . Then she was signed by Weiß-Rot-Weiß Kleve for the 2nd Bundesliga. She stayed here until 2012 when she returned to SKF Veenendaal in the Netherlands.
