Carlo Schmid program

The Carlo Schmid Program (CSP) is a scholarship program for internships at international organizations and EU institutions. It is supervised by the German Academic Exchange Service and the German National Academic Foundation . The program is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and, since 2012, by the Mercator Foundation . The Robert Bosch Stiftung helped finance the program from 2001 to 2012 . The Federal Foreign Office and the Tönissteiner Kreis are ideal sponsors . It is aimed at highly qualified students and graduates who want to familiarize themselves with the problems and working methods in international administration.

An alumni association has existed since 2003: the CSP network for international politics and cooperation

The program is named after the SPD politician and constitutional lawyer Carlo Schmid .
