Carlo Westphal (born November 25, 1985 in Wolmirstedt ) is a German racing cyclist .
Carlo Westphal began his professional career in 2006 with the Wiesenhof-Akud team . Before that he was under contract with the Sparkasse team . He lives in Heinrichsberg . He celebrated his first major success at the 2005 road cycling world championships in Madrid. There he was fourth in the U-23 classification, only 33 seconds behind the winner Dmytro Grabovskyy . He celebrated his greatest success shortly before the end of his professional career with a stage win at the ENECO Tour. Until its dissolution, he drove for the German UCI ProTeam Gerolsteiner .
