Carlo Yvon

Carlo Yvon (born April 29, 1798 in Milan ; † December 23, 1854 ibid) was an Italian composer , music teacher and oboe virtuoso of the Romantic period .

Life

Yvon studied oboe at the Milan Conservatory. He played as the first oboist in the orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala and taught in his hometown. Several compositions were written, such as the sonata for cor anglais and piano.
