Carol Lynn Fujino
Carol Lynn Fujino is a Canadian violinist of Japanese descent.
Fujino studied at the University of Toronto with Albert Pratz and Steven Staryk . She was assistant concertmaster of the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra . She has been a member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 1991 . She made her debut as a soloist in the Pops Series in Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for two violins in A minor and Pablo de Sarasate's Navarra for two violins. As a chamber musician, she is a member of the Accordes String Quartet and has worked with ensembles such as the Gryphon Trio , the Continuum Contemporary Music Ensemble and the Amici Chamber Ensemble .
In broadcasting, the CBC she performed as a soloist Alfred Schnittke's Concerto Grosso No. 1 and Arvo Pärt's Tabula Rasa . She made concert tours through North America, Europe and Asia (including a China tour with the Canadian Soundstreams ) and participated in numerous CD, film and television recordings.
