Carola Mair (born November 13, 1962 in Attnang-Puchheim ) is an Austrian documentary filmmaker and screenwriter .

Life

She studied acting at the Krauss Drama School in Vienna and intercultural journalism at the University of Salzburg . Since 1995 she has been working as a television journalist, both for ORF and for private television stations. In 2001 she was assistant director to Andreas Gruber . In the same year she began working as a documentary filmmaker. Most of her films deal with human rights , tolerance, diversity . The focus is on women and children worldwide.
