Carole Nelson Douglas

Carole Nelson Douglas (born November 15, 1944 in Everett, Washington, USA) is an American writer.

She writes crime novels , science fiction, fantasy and romance novels. The oeuvre comprises 62 titles (as of August 2015).

Carole Nelson Douglas gained fame primarily through three series of novels: the long-running alphabet crime series (25 of the 27 novels have a color word or a word for a gem in the order of the alphabet in the title) with the cat Midnight Louie - the Irene Adler series, the historical crime thrillers - the Delilah Street series of fantastic crime novels.

In her novels Carole Nelson Douglas mixes different styles and genres. It also does not ignore current social issues.
