Max Rueger

Max Rüeger (born April 29, 1934 in Wädenswil ; † May 16, 2009 in Zurich ) was a Swiss radio presenter and author .

Career

After graduating from high school and training as an actor, Max Rüeger became known as a radio presenter in the 1960s. For the Swiss radio DRS he presented programs such as “Autoradio Schweiz”, “Espresso” and “Guete Morge”. He was also the author of radio plays , entertainment programs (e.g. Teleboy ), cabaret pieces (for example for the Cabaret Rotstift ) and song texts (especially for the Trio Eugster ; new version of the libretto for the “ Kleine Niederdorfoper ” with Werner Wollenberger ). In 1969 he was awarded the Golden Rose of Montreux for the musical "Holiday in Switzerland" . He was on German television from time to time in the quiz show Was ich bin ich member of the advice team and represented his Swiss colleague Guido Baumann . From 1984 to 1999 Rüeger was part of the editorial team at Schweizer Illustrierte . Rüeger received the literary recognition award of the Canton of Zurich for the book “Heb Sorg”, which was created in 2004 .
