Peter Zeindler (2006)

Peter Zeindler (born February 18, 1934 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist and writer who is particularly well-known as an author of crime novels .

Life

Zeindler first attended the teachers' seminar . He completed his studies in German and art history at the University of Zurich with a doctorate ; the title of his dissertation with Emil Staiger was The negative hero in drama . He worked as a German teacher at grammar school and as a lecturer for German at Goethe Institutes . He has also worked as a journalist, editor and presenter on radio and television. From 1989 he moderated the literary talk show Bernhard-Littéraire in the Bernhard Theater in Zurich .

He is a member of PEN , the AdS authors 'association and the Syndicate crime authors' association .
