Schiller Prize from the Zürcher Kantonalbank

The Schiller Prize of the Zürcher Kantonalbank ( ZKB Schiller Prize ) is a literary prize that is awarded annually by the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) at the request of the Board of Trustees of the Swiss Schiller Foundation .

This award is intended to honor authors from the Zurich economic area who enrich and shape the Swiss literary scene with their works . The prize was donated in 1979; the prize money was increased to 10,000 francs (approx. 9,000 euros) in 1999 . Since 2010, the winner has also received the sculpture Held Anti Held by the Zurich artist Max Grüter .
