Thilo Krause
Thilo Krause (born April 29, 1977 in Dresden ) is a German writer and economist .
life and work
Thilo Krause studied industrial engineering in Dresden and London and received his doctorate in 2007 from ETH Zurich , where he worked in research until 2015; since then he has worked for the city of Zurich's electricity company.
Poems have appeared in anthologies and magazines since 2005 and have been translated into French, Italian and Spanish. In 2012 he made his debut with the volume of poems And that's all enough , for which he received the Federal Literature Prize in the same year . Jürgen Brôcan wrote in the NZZ : "It seldom happens that a debut in such a sovereign way finds an unobtrusive, yet deeply touching expression".
Krause lives in Zurich.
