Jürgen Brôcan

Jürgen Brôcan (born November 29, 1965 in Göttingen ) is a German writer , poet , essayist and translator .

Life

Brôcan studied German and European Ethnology at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and began translating at this time. Since then he has worked as a freelance writer, literary critic, editor and translator. In 2003 he moved to Dortmund . He writes essays and reviews primarily for the feature section of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and for the Hamburg online forum fixpoetry by Julietta Fix. He is also the editor of the edition open field (eof) and the magazine "open field", which is published in cooperation with the association of the same name.
