Peter K. Wehrli

Peter K. Wehrli (born July 30, 1939 in Zurich ) is a Swiss writer and filmmaker .

Life

Peter K. Wehrli - also known as PKW - grew up as the son of the writer Paul Wehrli in Zurich. He studied art history and German in Zurich and Paris. Until 1999 he worked as an editor for Swiss television . He was a member of the Olten group ; since 2003 he has been a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland .

He captures experiences on his extensive travels primarily in the form of short prose . For around 40 years he has been working on his main work, the catalog of everything , in which he tries to describe individual observations, numbered and given a keyword, usually in one sentence as precisely as possible. From 1975 this work was published in single deliveries with a ring binder , in 1999 in a first comprehensive book edition; the latest version was published in 2008 by Ammann Verlag in Zurich . Many of his texts have also appeared in magazines and anthologies .
