Sembritzki, originally from Luckow in Silesia comes, lives for camouflage as bookseller in Bern , but is actually BND - Agent . In a phase when the Federal Intelligence Service put him “out of service”, he went on a private trip to Poland to visit his dying aunt.

Nevertheless, the visit without ulterior motive arouses the interest of various secret services and resistance groups of all kinds. During the subsequent intrigues and chases, the reader is offered not only the usual thriller suspense, but also the historical background of Poland.
