Carolin Herrmann (born June 5, 1986 ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Herrmann began playing volleyball in her home town at VfB Ludwigslust. In 2000 she switched to the volleyball boarding school in Schwerin. She won a total of four German youth championship titles with the Schweriner SC . After the last with the A youth on May 14, 2006 in Sonthofen, the middle blocker switched to the second division Fighting Kangaroos Chemnitz , with whom she rose in 2008 to the first division . After relegation in the following season, Carolin Herrmann stayed in Saxony for one more season before joining SV Lohhof in 2010 , which, like Chemnitz, played in the second Bundesliga South in the 2010/11 season .

2010/11 season

Carolin Herrmann was on the starting line-up of SV Lohhof in ten matches. In the away games against Dresden (3: 0), Wetter (3: 0) and Saarbrücken (3: 0) as well as in the home game against Bad Soden (3: 0), the middle blocker was on the field from the beginning to the end of the games. She was substituted on nine times and not used in five games. In the decisive game for the first place in the table on the last day of the season, Herrmann was substituted on at 1: 1 and 14:10 in the third set. The Unterschleißheim team won this and the following set and became second division champions before the DJK Augsburg-Hochzoll .

Private

Carolin Herrmann left Saxony for professional reasons and moved to Upper Bavaria. Here she works as a physiotherapist .
