Caroline Catz , née Caroline Caplan (born October 19, 1970 in Manchester , Greater Manchester ) is a British actress .

Life

Caroline Catz was born in 1970 as Caroline Caplan in the industrial metropolis of Manchester in the north-west of England. When she discovered that there was already an actress named Caroline Caplan, she decided to use the stage name Caroline Catz. She began her acting career after graduating from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London in 1991. Caroline Catz works as a theater actress mainly in the West End of London . Your work in front of the camera is almost exclusively limited to television films and television series. Her role as DI Helen Morton in the television series Inspector Banks , which was broadcast on ZDF in 2012 , also made her known in German-speaking countries.

Caroline Catz met fellow actor Michael Higgs while filming the television series The Bill . The two are married and have a son (* 2001) and a daughter (* 2006).
