Caroline Henderson (born February 28, 1962 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish pop and jazz singer and actress living in Denmark .

biography

Caroline Henderson moved to Copenhagen in 1983 and sang in various jazz bands in her youth. In 1989 she became known for her membership in the pop group Ray Dee Ohh . When the formation broke up, Henderson began a solo career; She had her breakthrough with her first album Cinemataztic (1995), with the hit successes Kiss Me Kiss Me and Made In Europe .

The albums Metamorphing followed in 1998 and the disco cover album Dolores J - The Butterfly in 2000 . In 2002 she recorded the experimentally designed album Naos . As a jazz singer she was successful with Don't Explain (2003), Made In Europe (2004), Love Or Nothin ' (2006) and No. 8 (2008). In 2009 her album Keeper of the Flame was released; In 2012 a Weill tribute followed with Lonely House . Also in 2012 was Jazz, Love & Henderson with orchestral sound.

Henderson has also appeared as an actress in various plays and films, such as in the Spanish drama Tuya Siempre .

Her album Love or Nothin ' won a Danish Grammy for Best Vocal Recording .
