Caroline Sutorius

Caroline Sutorius , married Caroline Baison (* 1810 in Berlin , † February 14, 1875 in Munich ) was a German theater actress .

Life

Sutorius made her first theatrical attempts at the Königstädter Theater in her hometown, was then engaged in Leipzig and Dresden, where she held the subject of naive lovers and was particularly popular in Raimund's works, came to Hamburg in 1831, where she stayed until 1850 while During this time, however, undertook major guest tours and also worked for three years (1841 to 1844) at the Stadttheater in Frankfurt (debut: "Gabriele", "Frau vom Preßle", "Frau von Schlingen"). In 1850 she withdrew from the stage and died almost completely blind in Munich on February 14, 1875.

Sutorius was married to the actor Jean Baptist Baison from 1836. With this she had three daughters Anna , Auguste and Caroline , who all also became actors.
