Since the release of the first album, the band said they had improved their songwriting . In addition to guitarist and main songwriter The Jackal , some songs were also written by the drummer Reverend . Bassist Monstrosity also took part in the songwriting.
style
In addition to the usual influences of punk , gothic and rockabilly in the horror punk genre , the band was also influenced by metal . The texts deal with typical horror topics.
reception
Joachim Hiller praised the album in his review for the Ox-Fanzine and described The Crimson Ghosts as one of the best bands in the genre. Even the Sonic Seducer rated the album positive. The production, which is unusually professional for the genre, was highlighted.
