Carsten Birk (born October 1, 1977 in Völklingen ) is a German football player who was most recently under contract with SV Elversberg 07 in the Regionalliga West .

Birk began his professional football career at 1. FC Saarbrücken . From there he moved to Karlsruher SC , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2001 . In 2002 he went to SpVgg Greuther Fürth , before moving to SV Elversberg 07 in 2005 in the Regionalliga Süd . In 2009 he joined SV Röchling Völklingen before ending his career at his home club SF Hostenbach .

The defender played 71 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (5 goals), 92 games in the Regionalliga Süd (10 goals) and 15 games in the Regionalliga West.
