Carsten wing (born November 18, 1964 in Bremen ) is a German sports reporter .

biography

During his sports studies in Hamburg, he worked as a freelancer in the radio editorial team of Norddeutscher Rundfunk . In 1989, Flügel switched to the television sports department, where he has been working as an editor since 1993, primarily on matters relating to football . Carsten Flügel was on site as a reporter for the ARD at world and European championships and is also a reporter for the women's national soccer team. As an editor, he accompanied athletics and major swimming events and was also on site at the Super Bowl .

He commented on the final of the 2003 Women's World Cup and is a commentator on the sports show . At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he was program director for ARD.
