Carte (unit)
Carte was a French volume and grain measure for dry goods. It was quite different in size. The measure was widespread in Savoy .
- 1 carte = 998.62 Parisian cubic inches = 19.81 liters
- 1 carte = 14 measure (Wiener) = 21.22 liters
- 1 card = 2 Imal
- 4 cards = 1 real / resal
The Imal as a measure of grain was common in the Duchy of Lorraine .
