Casa del Vento is a folk group from the Arezzo province in Italy .
biography
The career of the musician group began in the nineties, at that time still under the name Teach na Gaothe ( galico for "Windhaus"), which initially appeared in Italy to play Irish folk music . In 1999 they produced their first album, Senza bandiera . With this record, which went in the direction of rock-folk, they laid the foundation for their further musical career, which was further solidified with their subsequent work, 900 (Novecento), a collaboration with Stefano "Cisco" Bellotti from the Modena City Ramblers . The topics of the subsequent panels were inspired by current events such as the G8 summit in Genoa in 2001 and the Iraq war . In contrast to the group's earlier style, the music on the 2006 album “Il grande niente” is much more danceable.
