The Casa de Sefarad in Córdoba , the capital of the Province of Córdoba in Spain , is a museum that presents the history and culture of the Sephardic Jews. The museum is located in the former Judería , near the synagogue .

Opened in 2006, the museum consists of five exhibition rooms with the following themes:

  • Everyday culture ( sala de la vida doméstica ), here everyday life and family celebrations such as weddings and circumcision are presented,
  • Music ( sala de música sefardí ), here the music and language of the Sephardi is explained
  • Judería of Córdoba ( sala de la Judería de Córdoba ), here the history of the Jewish quarter of Córdoba is explained,
  • Religious festivals ( sala de los ciclos festivos ), the objects for the religious festivals of the year are displayed here,
  • In the sala de las mujeres de Al-Andalus (Room of the Women of al-Andalus) there are paintings by the painter José Luis Muñoz dedicated to women in al-Andalus .
