Cassidy Krug (born July 12, 1985 in Pittsburgh ) is an American diver . She starts in artificial jumping from the 1-m and 3-m board and in 3-m synchronized jumping. She is trained by Rick Schavone.

Since both parents are coaches in diving themselves, Krug also started the sport at a young age. She has been part of the national squad since 2005. Krug won several third places in competitions as part of the FINA Diving Grand Prix. She celebrated her greatest success at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara , where she won silver from the 3-meter board and bronze in the 3-meter synchronized jumping with Kassidy Cook . However , Krug has not yet been able to qualify for world championships or the Olympic Games . So far, she has won nine national championship titles between 2005 and 2011.

On the other hand, Krug was very successful in college competitions. She studied at Stanford University and started for the university's sports team, the Cardinals . She won two titles at college championships.
