Cassius Ricardo Duran (born May 31, 1979 in São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian water diver . He started in artificial jumping from the 1 m and 3 m board as well as in 10 m tower diving and in 3 m and 10 m synchronized jumping.

Duran took part in three Olympic Games . In 2000 in Sydney he reached the semi-finals from the 3 m board and was 14th, from the 10 m tower he reached 28th in 2004 in Athens and 2008 in Beijing , each in the 10 m high diving, but was eliminated twice as 24. in the preliminary fight.

He achieved his best placement at the World Swimming Championships in 2005 in Montreal . With César Castro he was eighth in the 3 m synchronized jumping. Duran's greatest success was at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo . He won the silver medal in high diving.

After the 2008 Olympics, he ended his active career.
