Castelloza

Castelloza was a French trobairitz of the early 13th century . Little is known about their life. According to her vida , she came from the Auvergne and was married to a man named Truc Mairona. It is likely to be located in the vicinity of the trobador Peirol .

Four of her songs have survived, but none of the melodies. Along with Beatriz de Dia, she is the only Trobairitz from whom more than one song has survived. The theme of their songs is deceived love.
