Catherine Raney-Norman
Catherine Raney-Norman (* 20th June 1980 in Nashville , Tennessee as Catherine Raney ) is an American speed skater . She specializes in medium and long haul.
Catherine Raney-Norman made her debut at the World Cup in Berlin at the end of November 1997 . She celebrated her first major successes five years later with top places mostly over the 3,000-meter course. In the overall World Cup of the 2002/03 season, she finished fifth, her best place in a final statement.
She was able to win national championship titles four times. She reached a junior world record over 1500 meters and 3000 meters. At the Junior World Championships in Roseville in 1998 Raney-Norman won silver behind Aki Tonoike .
