Dion Esajas (born November 7, 1980 in Amsterdam , Netherlands ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

Esajas started his football career in the youth of DWS Amsterdam . The center forward played for HFC Haarlem from 1997 to 2001 , most recently in the Dutch second division . From 2001 to 2004 he was under contract with FC Volendam , with whom he was promoted to the Eredivisie in 2003 . After the direct relegation of the Dutch elevator team , he moved to FC Zwolle . Since the beginning of the 2006/07 season he has been under contract with SC Paderborn 07 in the German 2nd Bundesliga . In the East Westphalia , however, he could not prevail and made only six games as a substitute (status: May 8, 2007) . His contract, which originally ran until 2008, was terminated in May 2007 at the end of the season. He then went back to the Netherlands, where he worked for the Quick Boys from Katwijk for two years . In 2009, he moved within the Hoofdklasse A for FC Lisse .
