Catriona was a German folk band (1988–1990). Eric Fish then switched to Subway to Sally , Marek Kalbus became a successful opera singer, Jan Klemm and Tobias Unterberg founded the Inchtabokatables .

history

Eric Fish and Marek Kalbus met in 1988 at a music festival at which they appeared as soloists, and they initially formed the duo Kalbus & Hecht. After a few months, Jan Klemm joined the company and Catriona was founded. With this line-up, the band made it to the top pretty quickly thanks to their unconventional arrangements and the extraordinary vocals between Marek and Eric. At the central folk workshop in Ilmenau in 1989, audiences, media and experts unanimously considered them to be one of the best bands in the country. Marek Kalbus was called up at the end of 1989, and Tobias Unterberg joined the team. This also changed the musical profile. In 1990 her first album Rightfull King was released . In the same year the band broke up again.
