B. Deutung (* 1968 as Tobias Unterberg ) is a German cellist , composer , arranger and music producer .

Life

He grew up as the son of the children's film director Hannelore Unterberg in the GDR . In 1976, Unterberg played the leading role in the musical Concerto for Frying Pan and Orchestra , directed by his mother, and took over in the fairy tale film Verflixtes Misgeschick! a supporting role.

After reunification , his musical career began in 1990 with the band Catriona , which broke up a little later. With Jan Klemm (alias Herr Jeh), Titus Jany, Robert Beckmann and changing bassists (including the later Rammstein member Oliver Riedel ) Unterberg played under the name “B. Interpretation “1991 at The Inchtabokatables , which existed until 2002.

In 2004 he accompanied Milù , Kim Sanders and Peter Heppner's project as a cellist on their single Aus Gold , which supported the DRK .

Since then, B. Deutung has worked as a live musician for, among others, Deine Lakaien , Subway to Sally and their singer Eric Fish , whom he knows from their time together at Catriona . He is also the producer of numerous albums in a wide variety of music styles and radio plays. Since 2006 he has been the cellist of the band Chamber .
