The large dolmen of Serrahn (also called Kretstein ) was built between 3500 and 2800 BC. And is a plant of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). The north-west-south-east oriented large stone grave lies in the forest near Serrahn , in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The Neolithic megalithic complex has the Sprockhoff no. 385.
All bearing stones and a capstone of this system are available. The stones of the entrance to the southwest are missing. The chamber was 4.5 m long, 1.6 m high and 1.8 m wide. The board consists of pebbles , annealed flint and clay screed . The facility lay in a mound of earth that was covered with a layer of pebbles. Such coverage could be demonstrated in around 50 percent of the investigated plants in Mecklenburg. In addition to animal bones, there were human bones (including a skull) as well as 53 broken pieces, a blade , a cross cutter , a tall pot and a bowl. The complex, excavated and restored by Ewald Schuldt in 1964, has a capstone with a bowl . The investigation showed that it was reused by the carriers of the spherical amphora culture .
