The piece Cavatina was composed for piano by Stanley Myers and rewritten by him for guitar for the Australian guitarist John Williams . In 1978 it became famous in an arrangement for solo guitar and orchestra as the main musical theme of the film The Through Hell Going Through . It reached the top ten of the pop charts in 1979 in the original version of Williams and the version of The Shadows in Great Britain.
