Caverna de Santo Tomás
The Caverna de Santo Tomás is the largest cave system in Cuba with an area of 46 km . It is located on the outskirts of the small village El Moncada about 17 km west of the Valle de Viñales in the province of Pinar del Río . The top three of the total of seven floors of the karst cave can be explored in the company of a speleologist . Stalactite formations (e.g. the organ ) and palm-covered sinkholes are well worth seeing .
