Ce Ce Peniston is the stage name of Cecelia Veronica Peniston (born September 6, 1969 in Dayton , Ohio ), an American singer .

Live and act

She became known at the end of 1991 for the dance title Finally , which was able to place in the top 20 of the singles charts in many countries (including Germany No. 16, Switzerland No. 12, Austria No. 9). Other chart successes were We Got a Love Thang and Keep on Walkin ' in 1992.

The single Somebody Else's Guy , a cover version of the 1984 hit by Jocelyn Brown , entered the UK Top 20 in 1998.

Peniston has been working as an actress since 2005.
