The Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) is a large maximum security prison in Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City , Cebu , Philippines , with approximately 1,600 detention places. It is administered by the Philippines Bureau of Corrections .

Culture of Discipline

The Culture of Discipline at CPDRC program was made famous between 2005 and 2010 by the CPDRC Dancing Inmates . This program was based on compulsory daily exercise for inmates (except very old and sick inmates). In the process, choreographies developed that became known through YouTube (some 20 million views). Worth mentioning here are In the Navy , YMCA , Michael Jackson's Thriller and the Pope dance on the occasion of the Pope's visit in 2015 . Today's choreographer is Vince Rosales.
