Cenk Başoğlu (born March 12, 1976 in Miltenberg ), also Jenque Başoğlu or just Cenk , is a German pop singer and presenter of Turkish descent.

Career

The German-Turk, who had previously performed his own skits and music on regional stages, moved from Frankfurt to Cologne to appear as an actor on RTL in the television film Donna's Baby (1999). This was followed by unsuccessful attempts at Cenk to gain a foothold as a musician or otherwise on television (including Duo Fern, casting show "New Faces", works for Franken TV )
