The Cenobite Rocks (from English cenobite , monk monk ) are a small group of isolated rock islands off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located 8 km northwest of Cape Adriasola off the southwest coast of Adelaide Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1963 for its isolated geographic location.
