The Cerro Las Minas , or Cerro de Celaque , is an inactive volcano and with its 2849 meters (according to other information 2870 meters) the highest mountain in the Central American state of Honduras . It is located in the Cordillera de Celaque mountain range in the Lempira department and is its highest peak .
